scattered as is

i saw this Spanish sentence today (yes, i am back to reading Italian and sometimes Spanish):

De repente, ella se volvió loca.

Ξαφνικά, αυτή τρελλάθηκε - in Greek.

I am scattered. Torn into strange bits and pieces. Unable to communicate my desires, my fears, my dreams.

WHY?
